Plot Story of Royal Feast (尚食)

The Ming Dynasty was prosperous in the 19th year of Yongle, when Wanbang arrived in Korea. Emperor Yongle is eclectic, choosing ladies who are talented at cooking from all over the world to enter the palace in order to entertain the endless stream of envoys from various countries. Yao Zijin was chosen as the Shangshi Bureau's maid after several rounds of selection, and she met Luo Xingqiao, who was born into a beggar family, and Su Yuehua, a genius cook. The two of them inspired Yao Zijin, who had always passed by, and sparked his passion in cooking.

The three of them have a lot of tricks up their hands, having created hundreds of new recipes, expertly using Chinese medicinal cuisine, and recreating legendary foods from ancient literature from previous dynasties. Zijin's cooking abilities have steadily grown over time, progressing from court ladies to female talents to female historians to palm food to secretarial cuisine.
