China Launches Tesla's Competitor Electric Car, How Much Does It Cost?

Nio ET5, a luxury four-wheeled Chinese manufacturer, has unveiled its latest electric car, the Nio ET5, for domestic buyers. Advanced technology vehicles are expected to be serious competitors for the Tesla Model 3 and BMW i4. Nio ET5 is the manufacturer's sixth model to be officially introduced to the public on Tuesday, December 21, 2021

According to reports, the electric automobile will be sold internationally in the future. The Nio ET5 retains the unusual design of its sister, the ET7, in terms of aesthetics. The new vehicle is modest in size and features strong curves that denote great performance or speed.

The Nio ET5, on the other hand, stands out thanks to its lengthy fog lamp housing and aero intakes at the corners. A gently rounded tail is also added to make the rear shorter. The electric vehicle has a length of 4,790 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,888 mm. When compared to the Tesla Model 3, these notes make it worthwhile.

The Nio ET5's interior has a minimalist feel to it, but it is nonetheless opulent. Soft-close doors, frameless windows, flush door handles, and a UWB digital lock are featured on all instrument panels.

The PanoCinema—a panoramic and immersive digital cockpit where all in-car settings are managed, replete with AR (augmented reality) technology owing to NIO's relationship with NREAL—also makes a good impression.

NIO Autonomous Driving (NAD), NIO Aquila Super Sensing, and NIO Adam Super Computing are also included in the Nio ET5. Vehicles can safely run independently on the highway thanks to the presence of this technology. Price and Engine The NIO ET5 comes with three different battery options: 75 kWh for a range of 550 kilometers, 100 kWh for a range of 700 kilometers, and 150 kWh for a range of 1,000 kilometers. In terms of engine performance, the Nio ET5 is said to be capable of accelerating from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (0-62 mph) in 4.3 seconds.

The Tesla Model 3 electric automobile is now available for purchase at subsidized pricing starting at 328 thousand Yuan (about USD 51.450). The unit will most likely be sold in Europe after being sold in China.
